Vinnie "fucking" Paul!  The man is a legend for some brutal ass drumming over some of the most killer riffs of the 90's and early 2000's.  I am a huge fan of Vin's drumming and I really wanted to do a tribute to the guy in the only way I know how -drum cover!  Of course there are many songs I could of chose that would of been a better tribute, but this song right here fits my playing style to a T.  I had a lot of fun playing this one and took my time with it.

I created a new kit for this Pantera track and I think it matches really well with the style that was used on The Great Southern Trendkill album.  I could not find a cowbell in any of my EZX/SDX libraries that fit what was used, so I created my own sample from the original drums only recording; this is included in the download.  I love the toms sound in this preset from the great Darkness SDX.  Hope you guys dig it!
