This video was supposed to be released on July 24, 2020, but shit happens. 4 years ago "almost" to the day (July 24, 2016) I covered the song "No Easy Way Out" by Bullet For My Valentine, who in turn covered it from Robert Tepper and the iconic soundtrack to Rocky IV. One month prior, I purchased my Roland TD-30 kit and I was super excited at what it could potentially do down the road. In my haste I just threw the original video out there without any real concern. If you want to check out that older video, here it is: https://youtu.be/Sg1mnkPeQao
Well fast forward to today, or a month ago when I decided I wanted to fix my version of the cover and give it the justice it deserves! Well here it is. Pretty happy with the performance, not so happy with the video quality, but meh..
Not too many changes with the kit from my normal preset, only layered a 2nd cymbal to crash #3 for a great riding crash. Then some typical eq/mix related changes.
