I've never been a huge Volbeat fan. But since I will be seeing them on February 18th when I go and see Ghost, I figured I should brush up on their tunes. The first track I landed on was this one, Shotgun Blues. Holy shit! The riff is just massive, and the drumming is EXACTLY my style! You know what that means?! DRUM COVVVVVEEEEERRRR! I had a lot of fun covering this one, you can probably tell, but the fast section was throwing me off for a while because the placement of the double kicks. With enough practice it started to feel natural. There could be more content coming out with this song, just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed. ????
